Neuroverse
WELCOME TO THE
NEUROVERSE!
This is where neurodiversity unites and unleashes!
OUR MISSION
The Neuroverse is providing a home planet for neurodiverse individuals and allies where they can find community, opportunities, and resources. We want to create a fully inclusive world and cultivate neurodiversity so that, together, we can evolve humanity!
We want the Human Octopuses (neurodiverse people) to realize and actualize their infinite potential and share their gifts with the world!
Why are we octopuses? With nine brains, three hearts, and eight legs, what better animal to represent such a multi-talented and multi-interest group!?
We know the joys and potential of neurodiversity firsthand. Our Founder, Katherine, is neurodiverse four times over and has a knack for finding a variety of neuro-spicy people through her work in speaking and HR. They are all amazing! However, she realized that the talents of this community were often going untapped or unappreciated because others could not understand or relate to them, and individuals often felt alone. This will just not do for the human octopuses, so, with the help of some incredible neurodiverse teammates, The Neuroverse is born!
For us, The Neuroverse is personal and a project of love. Nothing is more wonderful than learning from others and helping each other evolve to unbridle our gifts!
We embrace both the disability and proven benefits of neurodiversity, and believe that neurodiversity holds the solutions to sustainability and the success of humanity. It deserves an honored place in society.
Our community welcomes everyone who embraces inclusion and supports neurodiversity!
OUR SERVICES
We are here to unleash the power of neurodiversity.
Let's come together to create greatness!
TERMINOLOGY
What Does Neurodiversity Mean Exactly?
Neurodiversity refers to medically visible and/or diagnosable variation in how a person's brain processes information or stimuli. A few examples of diagnosis are: ADHD, PTSD, TBI, Autism, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, Bipolar, and OCD. Not all neurodiverse people are diagnosed.
Neurodiverse persons are part of the disability community and also, according to multiple studies, have prevalent talents related directly to their diversity.
Different is not a deficit.
The term was originally coined by Australian Sociologist Judy Singer, who is herself on the Autism spectrum. Judy used the term more broadly, but with the very specific intent of spreading the knowledge that neuro variations are, in general, a benefit, and not a shortfall.

The
Fry Show
The Fry Show is a passion project of our Founder, Katherine McCord, about sharing the genius of neurodiverse children.
We believe that humanity has a lot to gain by listening to children and including them in our efforts to elevate. Plus, they are super fun!
The show launches December 2023.
