My Story
Dr. Campbell is a retired AEA Union Stage Manager and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal
Medicine (AHM). She holds certificates in Somatic Touch, Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture
Detoxification, and Arts Administration with a BFA in Editorial Design and Theatre Design
Tech.
She has taught high school technical theatre as well as masters and doctoral level didactic
and clinical courses. She has been a speaker in various organizations ranging from Johns
Hopkins Parkinson’s support groups to Maryland Institute of Creative Arts (MICA) brush
painting classes.
Spanning the pandemic as AHM Director of Clinical Education at Maryland University of
Integrative Health, she recruited and trained a very diverse, cohesive, clinical faculty and
created a revolutionary online AHM clinical model that then influenced other colleges’ clinics.
She is a founding member of The Octopus Movement, a founder of Five Seasons Learning,
LLC, and is building a nonprofit to serve essential workers and their administrators.
All this while also running her private practice, treating in a community center, providing
Distance Mind Body Integration sessions internationally, building online courses, playing
mandolin, reading, drawing, writing a book, practicing kyudo, homeschooling, finishing the
Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle every week, and still getting plenty of sleep.
I'm a Mimic
Octopus
People do tend to think I'm "just like them", but I can change energetic shapes at will! Camouflage comes almost naturally to me. This little cephalapod is also very brave and bold, which fits me for sure!
